Lucas Restaurants To Make 130 Lt Collins St Their New HQ!
Bringing together the best of Melbourne’s iconic property and hospitality industries, Lucas Restaurants will make 130 Little Collins their new corporate headquarters following the purchase of two levels of commercial space valued at more than $13 million.
Lucas Restaurants are behind a slew of Melbourne’s top Restaurants, such as; Society, Yakimono, Chin Chin, and the soon-to-open, Batard. Chris Lucas was originally drawn to 130 Little Collins due to its “outstanding triple-A position” and iconic and premium design.
“The building has a real sense of Melbourne style and feels very bespoke, which is important to a creative business like ours. It’s also within proximity to some of our restaurants, namely Society, Grill Americano, Kisume, Yakimono, Lillian Brasserie and Chin Chin. Not to mention the currently under construction Batard,” said Chris.
Levels 2 to Level 27 consist of column-free floorplates offering sun-drenched office spaces with maximised floor-to-ceiling heights of 2.7m to create an environment that promotes productivity.
A communal garden rooftop terrace offers a beautiful outdoor space for casual meetings and lunches. At night, it transforms into a space to entertain co-workers and clients, complete with a kitchenette.
The subterranean end-of-trip facilities are more akin to a first-class lounge, with visitors having access to private change rooms with showers and towel service, individual storage lockers and a waiting lounge, as well as bicycle parking facilities in line with the project’s sustainability initiatives.
130 Little Collins Street is currently under construction with Roberts Co, with construction anticipated to be finished early next year.
