Bringing together a diverse mix of dining, retail, essential services and lifestyle experiences, SKY SQR is establishing itself as a vibrant new destination for Melbourne’s east.
The precinct recently welcomed thousands of visitors to its two-day Mid-Autumn Carnival, bringing the community together for a celebration of food, culture and entertainment.
The event was attended by representatives from local and state government, business associations and industry partners, with City of Whitehorse Mayor Cr Kirsten Langford addressing guests.
“SKY SQR was created to be more than a retail precinct. Our vision was to create a place that brings people together and becomes part of everyday life in Box Hill,” said Golden Age Group Managing Director Jeff Xu.
The opening has also attracted widespread media attention, with publications including Time Out Melbourne and Herald Sun recognising SKY SQR as an exciting new addition to Box Hill’s evolving retail and dining landscape.
More than a decade in the making, SKY SQR reflects Golden Age Group’s continued investment in Box Hill. With more retailers opening their doors and visitation growing, the precinct is becoming an integral part of the local community.
The buildings create the place. The people bring it to life.
