Looking back at the year of 2023
It has truly been an exceptional year at Golden Age Group, marked by a series of remarkable milestones. As 2023 draws to a close, it’s time to reflect on the incredible success that has defined the ‘Year of the Rabbit’, with $120 Million in Sales, over 20 Events, and 12 Award Wins!
We received development approval for our latest residential development Wembley Hill in Box Hill South, achieved phenomenal sales success for our residential and commercial properties, celebrated construction milestones across our multiple projects, hosted numerous events for our vibrant Golden Age community and won a number of accolades for our various portfolios. The unwavering support we’ve received throughout 2023 has been instrumental in making this year truly remarkable.
In the realm of residential and commercial properties, 2023 witnessed phenomenal success, with sales exceeding an impressive $120 million. Notably, our highly sought-after Sky Garden project above The Glen shopping center is nearing a complete sell-out, showcasing the outstanding performance of our sales team. Sister site Floret in Glen Waverley achieved record-breaking sales since grand launch in July this year, and our latest residential townhome project, Wembley Hill in Box Hill South, generated an impressive $40 million in sales within the first month. Our commercial development at 130 Little Collins is rapidly filling up, with only 25% of strata offices remaining.
As our trusted builders get ready to put down the tools for the year and enjoy a well-deserved festive holiday season, we wanted to highlight the significant construction milestones that have reached new heights this year.
Our boutique strata office 130 Little Collins officially reached level 23 with the facade works well underway. The building is on track for topping-out by February next year and is anticipated for completion in the second half of 2024. Meanwhile, the construction for our second Glen Waverley project, Floret, saw the official appointment of Figurehead Construction early this year, with groundwork complete and the next stage on-site well underway.
This year we embarked on a journey to bring excitement and joy to the whole community. From Grand Openings to the delightful community events that families and friends came together to enjoy, we created a diverse calendar of fun-filled experiences. We look forward to continuing the momentum next year and hope to see you there!
Throughout 2023, our projects received 10 awards as well as being shortlisted for two nominations. From the UDIA NSW Awards for Excellence, HICAP ANZ’s Development of the Year Award, AHEAD Asia 2023, to the Better Future Sydney Design Awards, our projects, including The Harrington Collection and the Ace Hotel, garnered well-deserved accolades!
